1. The date and time for issue of Admission Forms and rules and criteria of obtaining such forms are announced through the College Notice Board within a few days after the publication of the result of H.S. Examination of West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education.
2. Admission programmes as per academic merit list for provisional admission to first year classes on different subjects are displayed on College Notice Board. Inadvertant mistakes, if any, in the academic merit list should be immediately brought to the notice of the College office. Specific date for admission in Honours and General courses are duly notified.
3. Admission is liable to cancellation if the conditions and requirements for the same as in force or notified by the college are not satisfied.
4. All admission is provisional, subject to the approval of the Calcutta University.
5. Admission will be strictly on academic merit. ( i.e. academic record of last public examination.)
6. Simultaneous admission in more than one institution in any session is against the rules and regulations of the University of Calcutta.
8. The selection for admission will be strictly according to the policy of the College Admission Sub-Committee.
9. Application for admission to the College should be made in the prescribed form.
10. Receipt of admission form by the college does not guarantee admission.
11. Admission to the College and permission to take up any particular combination of subjects are at the discretion of the College authority.
12. Any admission made ( inadvertantly) violating the rules and norms as in force at the time of admission or made by the Admission Sub-Committee or regulation laid down in the prospectus or otherwise notified by the College is liable to be cancelled.
13. Admission on transfer based on College norms may be permitted by the Admission Sub-Committee, pending availability of seats, fulfillment of conditions and final approval of the Principal.
14. Admission to the College is granted on the understanding that the student undertakes to conform to the rules and discipline of the College in all respects.
15. Students from Bangladesh or any other foreign country are to produce no objection certificate from the competent authority at the time of admission.
