Identity Card

Each student is provided with an Identity Card. This card is to be carried always and presented when required. If it is lost, the Principal must be informed immediately. A new identity card may be issued on payment of Rs. 10 only. In case of transfer from the College this card must be returned to the College office.

Concession

The College offers students' concession in respect of tuition fees to the needy and meritorious students. For SC/ST students stipends are awarded by the state Govt. provided they submit all necessary documents required for the purpose. However, the above facilities may be withdrawn on charges of gross misconduct, irregular attendance etc.

RAILWAY CONCESSION

Railway concession forms are issued to bona fied students for travelling to and from the College by train. Railway concessions are also available for educational tours from the College.

Cheap Stores

Cheap store facilities at RGSN complex where books & stationery at reduced rates are available.

Common Room

There are separate common rooms for boys and girls. The girls' common room has a lady attendant and a separate toilet attached to it. The common rooms remain open during College hours. There are arrangements for indoor games.

Cycle Stand

A cycle shed is available for the students to park their motorcycles and cycles in the RGSN Complex free of cost.

College Magazine

The College publishes a magazine every year with active participation of the Students' Union. The students, teachers and non-teaching staff help in various ways in publishing the magazine and contributing write ups and so on.

Grievance Redressal Cell

The Grievance Redressal Cell, as functioning in the College, is meant for addressing the grievances formally lodged by the students and the guardians. The said G.R. Cell has been formed selecting members from among the teaching, non-teaching staff and students. The Cell includes two lady teachers.

Wall Magazines & Journals

The College provides specific spaces for displaying wall magazines published by the College and different departments. Students are encouraged to contribute to their departmental wall magazines.

Seminars

Seminars, symposia and extension are organised from time to time by the College and the different departments separately where eminent educationists and professionals are invited as speakers/resource persons.
	To supplement the curriculum and introduce learner-centric teaching method, students are encouraged to act as speakers.

Museum

The College has organised and maintains a museum on Rashtraguru Surendranath Banerjea in the RGSN Complex. The museum is occasionally visited by outsiders. The College is developing the museum by adding a small library on Rashtraguru.

Alumni

The College has an Alumni Association. A separate room for Alumni Association has been provided by the College. The Alumni Association has applied for registration.

Prizes and Awards

The Teachers' Council awards prizes to students securing highest marks in different departments in college annual examinations.The College will award prizes and medals to students obtaining highest marks in the examinations at the University level also. Prizes also are awarded to successful candidates in different events of sports and games.

Canteen

Snacks and tea are available in the cheap canteen at reduced rates.
