1. The College holds Half-yearly and Annual examinations for the first year degree course (Hons. & General) and test examination for second year and third year students. Besides students are to sit for class tests regularly held by the departments. Absence in the tests will be considered breach of norms.
2. All the examinations count towards promotion to the next class and admission to the University examination.
3. Students coming late by more than 30 minutes will on no account be allowed to sit for the examination.
4. A Student using unfair means in the examination hall, shall be liable to exemplary punishment. Unfair practices such as possessing cog sheets, passing on an answer sheet to another student, talking, smuggling in answer sheets, misbehaving with invigilators etc. shall be severely dealt with.
5. Students not appearing in the college examinations on medical ground must submit medical certificate from a Registered medical practitioneer within 5 days after completion of the examination period.
6. Special emphasis is laid on tutorial classes and counselling classes.
7. Students shall have to write the answer to the questions of their respective combination subjects either in English or in Bengali in an examination.
